SYNOPSIS: Duck Soup is often called The Marx Bros. best movie, so what more do you need to know? Rufus T. Firefly (Groucho) is the newly appointed leader of the small country of Fredonia. He and the ambassador from rival country Sylvania both begin to woo Firefly’s benefactor, the rich Mrs. Teasdale. Naturally, the situation spirals hilariously into all out war between the two countries. Chico is a peanut selling spy, Harpo has some fun with scissors, and Zeppo (as usual) hangs around the periphery not being funny. Classic.
