Shailene Woodley (“The Secret Life of an American Teenager” and “The Descendants”) is in talks with Sony Studios to play Peter Parkers redheaded love interest in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” but as of yet nothing is concrete.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have signed on to reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy respectively. Marc Webb will again be aboard to helm the project, which is preparing to start casting very soon.
The rumor mill is a buzz with speculation as to whom the new “Baddie” is going to be to test the young arachnid hero. Some think that it can be none other than Maxwell “Max” Dillon aka Electro. People are tying to attach speculation to all the thunder and lightning post credit scene at the end of “The Amazing Spider-man” when a dark figure approaches Dr. Curtis Conner aka The Lizard in his cell.
The casting call has gone out to try and fill the familiar shoes of Peter Parkers old “frenemy” Harry Osborne…which only means that if Harry Osborne is in this next movie, one can only speculate that sooner or later the Green Goblin is going to show up throwing exploding pumpkins at poor Spidey!
We will try and keep you up to date as this story unfolds.
