SYNOPSIS:  One of THE GREAT indie horror movies…like EVER. A group of friends are spending the weekend in a cabin in the woods. In the basement they find a book bound in flesh capable ofopening a portal to a demon dimension. Soon they’re turning all demonic and sloppy faced and running away from the camera a lot. Most notable for introducing the world to director Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, who would go on to play his character Ash twice more to much fanboy acclaim. Oh, and it’s also pretty famous as “that movie where a girl gets raped by a tree”…so there’s THAT.
